An exhibition is in the works for 2021, in homage to Black thinkers, artists, and activists of the 20th century.
James Baldwin is prominently featured in a 12 ft x 5 ft double portrait, comprising two panels, each 6 ft wide. Baldwin is complemented by 14 more portraits, each 30 x 40 inches. The larger-than-life scale of the exhibition symbolizes the stature of the personalities and the influence they have had on American politics and culture.
